Positioned between historical religious painting and contemporary urban art, Woe Woe Woe! presents a world where flesh and spirit collide. This series highlights tensions between freedom and suppression within the context of spiritual and existential conflict. At its core, Woe Woe Woe! examines humanity’s intricate relationship with chaos, shaped by societal, systemic, and spiritual forces.Through the layering of diverse mediums, including painting, digital renderings and other mixed media, the works depict vivid narratives of the dynamic interplay between disorder and harmony, where destruction offers itself as fertile ground for redemption and hope. Drawing inspiration from the Book of Revelation, the works explore themes of faith, morality, and humanity’s relentless search for meaning.

…I heard an angel flying through the midst of heaven, saying with a loud voice, “Woe, woe, woe to the inhabitants of the earth, because of the remaining blasts of the trumpet of the three angels who are about to sound!” Revelation 8:13 (NKJV)
